Protoplanetary disk structure

I am working with Prof. Catherine Espaillat studying protoplanetary disks in young low-mass stars. My current research focuses on using multi-wavelength data to explore the vertical chemical structure of these disks. By analyzing observations from HST, JWST, and ALMA, which probe different disk regions, we aim to uncover insights into the initial composition of forming planets.

Magnetospheric accretion

Since 2020, I have been working with Prof. Nuria Calvet (University of Michigan) and Dr. Gladis Magris (CIDA) to study accretion processes in protoplanetary disks. Using a magnetospheric accretion model (Muzerolle et al., 2001), we analyze observed emission lines to infer the physical properties of these systems.
